See how teenagers in Swan Housing's Exmouth Estate jump from one building in the Exmouth Estate to the next , risking plunging down to their deaths . To date I have seen no warning notices posted through our letter boxes to deter the perpetrators and to get their parents to exert some influence on their children . Swan Housing should make sure that the iron ladders on the fourth floor are not used by the teenagers to climb onto the roof

We suffered for 4 months without hot water nor drinking water under Swan Housing Exmouth Estate who did nothing to alleviate our suffering. Only when we complained to the East End Advertiser did Swan Housing take our complaint seriously and managed to solve the water problem -they repaired their own leaks in the Estate and convinced the gullible residents it was Thames Water who were to blame. Thames Water for their part carried out their own checks and stated categorically in several letters that the water problem had nothing to do with them but was an internal problem . Swan Housing have never paid out any compensation to any of the affected residents.

We keep being told how wonderful Swan Housing Exmouth Estate is for regenerating the Exmouth Estate and that we should be eternally grateful to Swan Housing. The Exmouth Estate was smashed to smithereens by "vandals" AFTER Swan Housing took over the Estate from LBTH in 2006  -they had left THE MAIN ENTRANCES UNREPAIRED AND WIDE OPEN TO ANYONE WHO CARED TO ENTER THE ESTATE . YET WE RESIDENTS HAVE TO FOOT THE BILL FOR THE DAMAGE , WITH EACH LEASEHOLDER HAVING TO PAY £10,000 !!!! We don't mind paying for legitimate repairs -what we do mind is paying for repairs that were caused by the negligence and indifference of Swan Housing !!!!!
